Developer Code of Conduct
This page is for members with developer access
The Developer Code of Conduct applies to members who have been given write, admin or owner access to a club digital system, such as GitHub, hosting or the admin tools. The VP & Technical Consultant designates those members and trains them before access is shared.
You haven't been designated for developer access, so there is nothing for you to sign. If you are joining a technical project that needs it, ask the VP & Technical Consultant.
As a developer and member of the KSSS Mathematics and Technology Club, I commit to the following principles:
1. Integrity
I will write honest, clean code. I will not plagiarise work from other members or external sources without attribution. I will acknowledge errors and fix them promptly.
2. Respect
I will treat every member with dignity regardless of skill level, background, or experience. I will give constructive feedback and receive feedback graciously.
3. Collaboration
I will share knowledge openly. I will not gatekeep information or create barriers to participation. I will actively help newer members grow.
4. Security
I will not attempt to access data or systems beyond my granted permissions. I will report security vulnerabilities through responsible disclosure, never exploit them.
5. Privacy
I will treat member data as confidential. I will not share, copy, or process personal information outside of its intended purpose within club systems.
6. Accountability
I accept that violations of this code may result in removal from developer roles, restricted access, or membership review. I will accept outcomes of any review process conducted fairly by the executive team.

The Developer Code of Conduct governs how members with technical access — including portal developers, course contributors, and data administrators — use their access responsibly.
Signing is required to contribute code or take on any administrative role within the club's technical systems.
